The Vinyl Factory will present a unique collaboration between Grace Jones and groundbreaking light artist Chris Levine at their Soho gallery space in London from April 30 – May 14.
Levine is renowned for his 3D and still images of Queen Elizabeth II and has now created a series of 3D holographic portraits depicting the legendary music/fashion icon Grace Jones.
Grace Jones has always had an intrinsic link to the art world, ever since her debut on the music scene, teaming up with Jean-Paul Gaude for her Slave to the Rhythm and Island Life albums. Now, Jones has teamed up with Levine to create an immersive multimedia piece, featuring an assortment of lazers, lightboxes, videos and soundscapes.
Stillness at the Speed of Light will also be used to launch Grace's new video 'Love You To Life' directed by Chris Levine.
